Making Sense Of Google's Mobile Ad Market Share

The giant of social networking, also known as Facebook, global market share mobile ads revenue was a little over 3 billion dollars in 2013. The company is continuing to see growth in this area, and it has its sight set on tech giant Google's mobile ad market share.



As big as the trend is now, it shows no signs of abating and is poised to grow and expand even more. This is because technology continues to grow and to come up with new devices and ways to communicate. Together, Google and Facebook accounted for more that 66% of money spent on global mobile ads.

According to Facebook's fourth quarter results of 2013, over 52 percent of the ad revenue came from mobile advertising. This increased from 23 percent in the same quarter of 2012. The company's revenue from their advertising campaigns was a little over 2 billion dollars in 2013. Google and Facebook are now the leading ad publishers in all digital ad space, including mobile ad space. Combined, these two companies have claimed over 75 percent of ad revenue in the industry.

This has created even stronger competition. With all devices combined, Google still remains the top ad publisher with almost 33 percent of all digital ad dollars directed in the tech giant's path. Facebook's market share will also increase, but Yahoo will lose some percentages due to the exponential growth of Facebook. However, Microsoft's market share remains stable.

In 2014, it is estimated that 65% of advertising and its revenue will be generated by technological devices and social media. This translates to millions, or even billions, of dollars. There are few markets, companies or people who will not be affected by all of this. So when it comes to Google's Mobile Ad Market share, there has never been a better time to learn all about it and all about it and all that it means to you.
