Kickstarter Game Projects & Work Of Internet Marketing Companies

By Robbie Sutter

Video game projects and Kickstarter is not an uncommon pairing but it seems like there have been more strong ideas coming out of the wood works rather recently. "Mighty No. 9" has more than been able to blast through the litany of stretch goals that it had, which speaks volumes. It goes to show that there is trust to be had with this name but what are the reasons for this? Is it possible that, with the most effective Internet marketing companies out there, efforts are going to be made that much better?

"Mighty No. 9," in my mind, did very strongly mainly because of how it was able to capture the spirit of a franchise that has been long ignored. Take into account that this project has the original creator of the "Mega Man" series in Keiji Inafune on board. Those who played games in that particular series can probably see a strong influence in this new franchise. I have to believe that the word "re-imagining" fits very well when it comes to this Kickstarter-facilitated project filled with the utmost potential.

Capcom has been criticized for a number of things, such as the neglecting of the Mega Man franchise at the expense of the fans. Even though they have demanded a new game time and time again, it did not seem like the company had any interest in bringing such a product to the masses. I think it speaks volumes about Capcom's faltering success when it cannot take into account the demands of fans. Ignoring one's user base is a problem in the eyes of those within Internet marketing companies.

There has to be more done in order to help your Kickstarter video game project stand out that much more. I believe that demos can be utilized so that fans will be able to attain a rough impression, at least, of what the final product would be like. Advertising the project in question can be done and I believe that this is an area of expertise for Internet marketing companies. This is where authorities along the lines of fishbat will be able to show how strong these efforts can prove to be.

I feel as though the majority of Kickstarter projects have been on rather unsteady ground for one reason or another. Amongst them, though, are a couple of gems that are able to attain tremendous amounts of money since there is a lot of trust built into them. Maybe there is a reputable name to take into account, Inafune being the example spoken about earlier. The gaming masses understand what kind of impact their influence has and it will be the type that is felt in the long term.
