Google's Latest Algorithm Updates - Using Them To Your Advantage

By Yusef Naser

Anyone that has tried to rank for particular keywords, especially in the last two years on Google, has probably found quite a bit of difficulty. It has to do with its latest updates, called Penguin and Panda. These updates target websites that are generating huge amounts of backlinks suddenly, as well as placing content that is not unique at all. The key to bypassing these updates, and finding your way to the top of the search engines, is by using these two strategies below.

An easy way to blast your way to the top of the search engines is to use high authority sites. You can set up blogs on Blogger, WP.com and send thousands of links to these websites and find your way to the top of the search engines. The same is also true for some of the video sites, PDF sharing sites, and many others. The key is to not use a brand-new domain to use the link blasting technique or else you will definitely find yourself in the sandbox right away.

Although blasting links still might work with high authority sites, if you want to rank your own site, you need to use high quality links. If you can get a link from an authority site pointing at your website, even if it is brand-new, the page rank of that website will help boost it to the top.

This can't be done using software or services as they do not have the ability to tap into these types of websites. By contacting business owners of websites with high PR, you might be able to post a link on their blog, and therefore get the page rank and backlink that you need to rank higher in the search engines.

Therefore, if you can get several high PR high authority back links pointed out your website, even if they are no follow, it will still help you in your search engine rankings, sometimes all the way up to page-one.
